Our Story
Vineyard Seniors was born from a deep, personal passion for helping older adults find the right living environment, fostering safety, comfort, and joy.
This passion began more than 25 years ago, when our founder, Chuck Eusey, helped his grandmother, Eleanor, navigate his own senior living journey. Weekly pizza outings to Perry’s Pizza, heartfelt conversations, and time spent with other residents opened his eyes to the power of meaningful senior care. That experience became the seed for a lifelong career in senior living.
A Career Built on Care
For the past 12+ years, Chuck has served as Executive Director of large senior living communities throughout Southern California.
This role meant overseeing every aspect of daily operations, from care and dining to activities, maintenance, housekeeping, administration, and sales. More importantly, it meant ensuring residents felt respected, valued, and truly at home.
His leadership focused on creating vibrant communities with exceptional standards of care and deeply committed staff. These experiences built the foundation for Vineyard Seniors’ mission today.
